4-star Georgia safety Michael Daugherty has committed to LSU football

4-star basic safety Michael Daugherty has dedicated to LSU football, he declared on Wednesday.

At 6-foot-1 and 180 lbs ., Daugherty is the No. 19 safety in the nation, in accordance to 247Athletics Composite. He is also the No. 18 prospect in Ga and No. 202 recruit in the nation from the Class of 2023.

Daughtery attends Grayson in Loganville, Georgia. He picked the Tigers more than Georgia, Auburn, Louisville, Texas, North Carolina and Miami.

LSU safeties coach Kerry Cooks and defensive coordinator Matt Property had been his lead recruiters, according to 247Athletics. Daugherty produced his official visit to Baton Rouge on April 1.

Daugherty is the 3rd prospect to commit to LSU from the Class of 2023, becoming a member of four-star extensive receiver Omarion Miller and 4-star restricted finish Mac Markway. Markway and Miller are the two top rated 125 prospective clients in the nation.

LSU now has the No. 37 recruiting course in the nation, fifth in the SEC.
