Georgia’s 2022 signing course bought further Monday night with a familiar experience signing on.

Marcus Washington Jr., who fully commited to Ga previous May perhaps, introduced Monday night time that he’ll be reclassifying from the 2023 class to the 2022 class and enrolling in Athens this summertime.

A Grovetown native, Washington Jr., is a 4-star and the No. 6 cornerback in the 2023 recruiting course. He chose UGA more than offers from Arkansas, FSU and Oregon, amid other folks.

The son of previous Bulldog Marcus Washington, Washington Jr. experienced 42 tackles, an interception, 5 pass breakups and two pressured fumbles in 2020 for Grovetown. He also averaged 29 yards on kickoff returns and scored two touchdowns on specific groups.

Prior to Washington’s reclassification, Georgia experienced the No. 3 signing course in 2022, at the rear of Texas A&M and Alabama. With the addition of the four-star cornerback, UGA now has 30 signees in their 2022 class. Washington becomes the fourth cornerback to indicator in the 2022 class.
