Joe Wicks receives an honorary doctorate in Sport and Exercise Science from St Mary’s University

Talking of the award, Wicks – who initial graduated from St Mary’s in 2005 with a degree in Sport Science – claimed: “I come to feel so very pleased to have been given an honorary doctorate from St Mary’s University.

“I beloved each and every yr of my time there researching sports activities science. It was the very first time I felt excited to pursue a profession in a a little something I was passionate about.

“I’ve preserved that appreciate and passion for exercise and continue to do all I can to inspire others to stay a healthier and happier lifestyle.

Wicks proudly shared pics on social media immediately after the ceremony which took spot at Westminster Cathedral on Thursday.

Sporting a pink and blue robe and graduation cap, he can be witnessed beaming with each arms triumphantly up in the air as he demonstrates off his new diploma in one image.

He also shared a near up of his certification and uploaded a small clip showing his delight after amassing the nod.
