Oregon football star Spencer Webb, 22, dies after falling on rock slides and hitting his head

University of Oregon soccer star Spencer Webb died Wednesday following he fell on rock slides and hit his head, officials reported.

He was 22 yrs aged.

Webb, who played restricted end for the Ducks, fell on the slides west of Triangle Lake, about 35 miles west of the university’s campus in Eugene.

Deputies arrived at the scene at 2:30 p.m., and bystanders and paramedics were not able to revive him, the Lane County Sheriff’s Business mentioned.

He was uncovered “about 100 yards down a steep trail,” and lookup and rescue staff assisted with bringing him back to the roadway, authorities stated.

“There is no proof of foul play and his dying appears to be accidental,” the sheriff’s workplace mentioned.

San Francisco 49ers star Arik Armstead described Webb as a “great youthful male with a promising long run long gone too quickly.”

Sacramento Vice Mayor Angelique Ashby named Webb’s loss of life “unbelievable,” including that he was “too youthful.” 

Chase DeMoor, who plays for the United States Football League’s Michigan Panthers, stated on Twitter that “words just cannot even begin to describe the pit in my heart.” The tweet was accompanied by a movie demonstrating Webb throwing a football all-around on a beach.
