Top Universities to battle for Rugby15s title – DAILY SPORT

Major Kenyan universities will be battling for the rugby Kenya Varsity League that kicks off this Saturday just after it was launched on Thursday run by the Kenya College Athletics Federation (Kusf), previously Kenya University Sports Affiliation (Kusa).

Eighteen universities have verified participation in the very first edition, which will have each men’s and women’s groups

The men’s class will have 16 groups whilst the women’s opposition has captivated only four groups.

Jomo Kenyatta College of Agriculture and Technologies (Jkuat) has been chosen to host this weekend’s matches.

The 16 universities that will aspect in the men’s editions are Masinde Muliro of Science and Engineering, Catholic College of Jap Africa, Technical College of Kenya, University of Eldoret, Kenya College of Accounting University, Egerton College, Jomo Kenyatta College of Agriculture and Technology (Jkuat) and Dedan Kimathi College of Technological innovation, College of Nairobi, Complex College of Mombasa, Meru College, Kabarak University, Moi College, Kisii College, Strathmore University and Cooperative College.

Gals will be represented by Kenyatta College, Meru College, Maseno University and Egerton University.
