UofL basketball star Hercy Miller joins 2X Game Changers as youth ambassador

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A newly recruited star of the University of Louisville men’s basketball plan is giving back again to the community as a youth ambassador.

Hercy Miller, a UofL basketball walk-on who joined the crew before in June, is becoming a member of non-violence advocate Christopher 2X’s Activity Changers business.

According to a release, Miller will sign up for the nonprofit group to function with its Future Healers software, encouraging small children aged 4-13 who have been impacted by gun violence.

Miller claimed right after his household customers were temporarily located to Louisville in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, he’s felt a specific relationship to the city.

“I want to give back and search ahead to encouraging young ones in the Christopher 2X Match Changers software,” Miller explained in a release.

Miller formerly partnered with his father, rapper and philanthropist Percy “Master P” Miller, and the Match Changers to host a birthday celebration for a 2-year-previous Louisville girl who was wounded in a taking pictures.

“We’re so glad Hercy will be a part of us in assisting the people and young ones we provide who have earned and have to have our aid and who have endured awful injustices,” 2X reported in a launch. “Hercy can be a part product and mentor, an inspiration to them.”

Christopher 2X Recreation Changers associates with the UofL School of Medicine and UofL Overall health for its Foreseeable future Healers application. In addition, the firm partners with the Louisville Zoo for its Long term Healers Received Zoo Buddies system, which explores the therapeutic powers of animals with younger kids.
